This small corner plot sits on the sea front between Brighton and Hove and was previously occupied by a nine bed residential home.

 

The brief was to maximise the potential of the site and the number of beds whilst respecting the scale of the adjoining hotel on Kingsway and the domestic dwellings in the conservation area on Princes Crescent.

 

The scheme is very contemporay in its design, whilst utilising materials suitable to the locale. Thirty on-suite bedrooms are achieved together with the requisite lounge, dining and ancillary accommodation. Amenity space is at a premium at ground level but large roof terraces and as many balconies as possible provide uninterupted sea views.
